My Thoughts About Eurovision Song Contest 2010

I just remembered that I haven’t written about the Eurovision Song Contest yet, haha! Of course my whole family watched it, all evening, just like we always do each year. I thought there were relatively many good songs participating this year, compared to what it’s usually like. Earlier years, I’ve thought maybe 2-3 songs were good, this year there were many more.

I can start by mentioning the song from Belarus. It wasn’t one of my favorites but it was okay – and they had Robert Wells.

My favorites were Denmark, Turkey, Germany, Romania and Ukraine. Pretty different songs, haha! Denmark was in a good position at the start of the voting, too bad it didn’t end as well. But I’m still happy for Germany, both the song and the girl were cute, and it was so fun that they finally got to win the contest again!

But the best part of the evening, for me, was when Eric Saade reported the Swedish votes. And apparently there were a lot of viewers from all of Europe who took a second look when he was on, judging by the comments to this video.
