I went to a few firework festivals this summer, and my favourite one was of course the one where I could combine the awesome fireworks and my favourite singer! Takizawa Hideaki was one of the entertainers during the Jingu Gaien hanabi on the 10th of August. Here’s a review of that evening!
A few weeks ago I experienced the most amazing dancing show, that is PLAYZONE. For those of you who are not familiar with it, it’s one of the stage shows that are set up by idols from Johnny’s Entertainment every year. This year, like the previous two years, Imai Tsubasa (one half of Tackey & Tsubasa) led the show. It was buckets of luck more than anything else that finally let me see the show on the 2nd of August – and you can probably guess that I’m really happy about it! Here is my long (I’ve warned you) report!
On July 26, I went to my first ever concert with Takizawa Hideaki (Takki). It was the first concert of the summer tour, and the first out of two in Yoyogi, Tokyo. I was prepared for an awesome and fun show, but it was even better than I had thought it would be! As one could expect from Takki, it was filled with glitter, love, juniors – and Tsubasa. Here’s my report – but I warn you, it’s pretty long!
I’m writing this report later than late, and later than what’s acceptable. But here it is! In April 2012 I went to Tokyo to go to Tackey & Tsubasa’s 10th Anniversary Fan Event, an event that I will never forget, an event which I left with shaky knees and a melting heart!
What are the odds that a Swedish girl is the first one to answer when I ask on an international blog how to get tickets to Tackey & Tsubasa tours? Not that high, but that was the case. And this weekend, less than one week after we first got in touch with each other, I went to Stockholm to meet her. The weekend was amazing, to say the least, with a lot of fangirl talking, concert dvds and fun video clips that made my stomach hurt because I laughed so much!

There have been many posts about Japanese bands during the past few days – and here’s another one. When I’ve listened to Japanese songs I just have to listen to my absolute (Japanese) favourites – Tackey & Tsubasa! They have great music, I love their emotions on stage, their beautiful voices (and I love laughing at their fun dances haha).

I love Japanese pop music (and some Japanese rock music too), and here is a tip. This duo is called Tackey & Tsubasa and consists of Imai Tsubasa (dark-haired) and Takizawa Hideaki (blonde). This is one of their best songs!
