It’s amazing how something that felt so tough and so difficult can run so smoothly! I sat down with the outline for my NaNo novel this afternoon, and it’s gone from being 25% gaping holes to being almost completely planned out! It feels really great, because I feel that I will need a detailed outline this year. Is there anyone else out there who will also participate in NaNoWriMo?
Right now I’m writing a letter to the child in Guatemala who I sponsor. I feel ashamed that I still haven’t written any letters to her – she has written me three already… But now I’m getting it done! I’m finishing the letter right now and then I will write it by hand on a beautiful letter paper. I’ve got a few gifts to put in the package as well. I hope she will like them!
Finally! I’ve longed for the members only CD from the Hanson fanclub, couldn’t wait to hold it in my hands – and today I finally found it in my letterbox! And because the CD was so delayed this year, Hanson sent another little thing as well, as compensation – so now I have a specially designed key ring.
Could you think of a better way to start your day? I woke up to Hanson’s livestream from the show in San Fransisco. It’s been a long time since I watched a Hanson show (I use to watch videos on YouTube), so it’s so cool to see them live, from the other side of the world.
Evanescence – Taking Over Me
Now it’s less than two months until NaNoWriMo starts – National Novel Writing Month. I’ve actually entered this year. For so many years I’ve been thinking it would be fun, a good challenge for me, a way to force myself to actually write, to really try to create something for real. Now is the time at last!
This is what I’ve been doing the past couple of days… I thought maybe it was time to start playing any of all the XBox 360 games I bought this summer, so I picked “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”. Now I’ve finished the story, but I still have much to solve in the game!
Today was a nice day, despite a few raindrops. I went to the sea with my boyfriend and some of his relatives, somewhere outside Lysekil I think it was… We fished for crabs, had lunch on the pier, took a short walk and sat reading in the sunshine!
Me and my boyfriend went to the sunny Gothenburg today. Such beautiful weather! We went shopping, took a walk in the city, and finished the day off with luxurious chocolate and giant raspberries by the canal.
There was a Närcon this year as well, even though it was much smaller than last year. And unfortunately not so well-organized. But the arrangers should still get some credit, as they started planning very late this year (there wasn’t meant to be a Närcon this year at all). The best thing was the gaming areas, karaoke contest and the party grill. The worst was the cosplay…
